Think Fit Neuro Fitness

Think Fit Neuro Fitness

Designed for people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Evidence shows that physical exercise, cognitive exercise, and participating with others may help sustain, maintain, and perhaps regain abilities despite the brain changes experienced due to dementia, Alzheimer's, and other cognitive impairments. Each hour-long class consists of stations that focus on cardio, strength training, and balance. Participants will be challenged to learn new skills, remember and recall items, and complete motor and cognitive tasks at the same time. A monthly support session to explore strategies and provide resources is offered to the caregivers of those living with brain change.

“I think the socialization part of the class and the stimulation from the exercises and memory games are well planned and executed.  The energy and upbeat style of the instructors makes for a fun time for all participants.”
